The Smith Family offer support programs and financial assistance including their winter appeal. The Smith Family works with communities across the country to assist Australians living in disadvantage. Some staff and volunteers are based in schools, others work through community organisations and some have their own Smith Family offices

|The Salvation Army|
The Salvation Army have a network of community services centres nationally that also provide limited practical assistance for low-income families who are struggling to make ends meet.

|St Vincent de Paul Society|
The St Vincent de Paul Society offers people assistance through its primary work of home visitation. Support may include providing food or food vouchers, clothing, furniture, budget support, assistance with utility bills or back to school costs.

|The Red Cross|
The Red Cross offer community services including support for homeless people (domestic violence, etc.) and a Good Start Breakfast Club run provide a healthy breakfast and nutrition education every day to school kids in areas of greatest need around Australia. There are more than 260 operating nationally in all states that serves in excess of 800,000 school kid meals a year.

|Brotherhood of St Laurence|
The Brotherhood of St Laurence assist families through services in child care, playgroup and parent support. They offer savings and small loans programs and run the ANZ Saver Plus program which assists families on low incomes to develop a savings habit, build assets and improve financial capability
