Seeking single mums that have teenage children
Hi single mums,
I am Jason Bryce, a freelance journo, looking for parents of teenagers 16 – 19 years, especially school students but also kids who have left school in year 10.
I want to talk to mums whose family tax benefit payments have increased recently or who have got letters from Centrelink about family tax and youth allowance changes.
Kids who stay at school now attract up to $161 more per fortnight in Centrelink payments than they did in 2011.
Is this helping parents keep their kids at school? Do people know about this big change they have to actively apply for?
Especially like talking to Queensland and Melbourne based families because I write for newspapers in those states.
