Movie World

Movie World has something for all ages to enjoy. From the Kidz’ WB! Fun Zone to the Batwing SpaceShot and the Arkham Asylum Coaster, it is ideal to pack comfortable shoes and cool clothing because you will do a lot of walking in the warm weather. As you enjoy the sun, the rides and the food, you will also enjoy a white Christmas this December as Movie World turns into a winter wonderland.

To ensure you forget nothing, plan your activities in advance so you know what you need. Make a list so you do not leave anything out. One thing you will not have to worry about is food and beverages. There are many food options along the way, eliminating the need to pack snacks and drinks.

Dreamworld

Dreamworld has shows and activities that the entire family will enjoy. Tiger lovers will enjoy the brand new Tiger Island Show. Starting 26th December 2013, Dreamworld’s youngest tigers, Baru and Ravi, will be showing off during their new Cub College Tiger Show. The kids can also visit with Po from Kung Fu Panda or watch Shrek in Shrek’s Faire Faire Away. Make sure you have your camera or wireless phone on-hand so you can capture the moments.

If you are a zombie fanatic, you will be able to choose a side in the Zombie Evilution – The Battle for Kevil Hill. The question is: are you a zombie or a soldier? Choose your side and enjoy the adventure. After you kill zombies or “get killed,” there is a lot to do in DreamWorks Experience. Your kids will love seeing the Madagascar Madness Live shows, the family fun rides and meeting all the DreamWorks characters. Or, if you are a thrill seeker, get in line for one of the Big 8 Thrill Rides. Just make sure your belongings are secured and stay properly hydrated along the way.

Sea World

When visiting Sea World, make sure you are prepared to get wet, so wear clothes that won’t weigh you down. Practically everything involves water in some way, even the Storm Coaster. Opening in December 2013, you will get a little wet while enjoying the state-of-the-art fire effects that sets the Storm Coaster apart from the rest. It is the only ride like it in Australia and one that you probably won’t be able to resist if you love roller coasters.

You can also head over to Polar Bear Shores where you will notice the colder side of Sea World. It is here that you will get to see Henry playing at “Polar Pre-School.” This is an opportunity to get up close and personal with a baby polar bear. The types of items that are appropriate to pack include those that make carrying money, IDs and such necessary items easier.

Wet’n’Wild

You will want to pack your towels, goggles, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and swimwear for Wet’n’Wild. You will spend so much time in the sun that you may want to consider cover-ups to protect from the sun, especially if you intend on enjoying Calypso Beach’s lazy river or Buccaneer Bay. If you intend on not spending all of your time in the water, Wet’n’Wild has rides, such as the Surfrider, Zip Line, and SkyCoaster. In other words, make sure you have dry clothes on-hand so you can take a break from the slides and pools and get some air.

WhiteWater World

WhiteWater World gives the family the opportunity to cool off. You can enjoy the heart pounding speed of the Wedgie, hang out in Wiggle Bay with the kids, float at the Cave of Waves, and make sure you all pack your cozzies for the ultimate and newly renovated playground known as Pipeline Plunge. This enormous tree fort is complete with slides, a giant bucket of water, and activities that the kids will enjoy. When packing for WhiteWater World, make sure the entire family brings swim suits, towels, goggles, sunscreen, and mum and dad should pack a waterproof case that can be worn around the neck, arm, or ankle for money, IDs, and other important items. For the little ones, swim vests will keep them safe in case they accidentally float away or are near one of the deeper pools and fall in.
