Sesame Street Presents Elmo’s World Tour

Do you have some little Sesame Street fans in your household?
Take them to the Elmo’s World Tour Show for a kid-tastic time!
My two daughters Brooke, 7 and Samantha, 5, and I attended the Elmo’s World Tour show at the Royal Theatre in Sydney. What a ball the kids had, from the show itself to a chance to give Elmo a real hug during the VIP meet and greet with him after the show!
You could cut the kid-excitement with a knife in the packed-out theatre as riveted pre-schoolers anxiously awaiting the appearance of their favourite Sesame Street characters – and they were not to be disappointed!
Grover was the first to appear, and he introduced the show to the welcoming cheers of the crowd. But this was nothing compared to the Beatles-like reception that was given when the curtain was raised on the whole Sesame Street gang! Everyone’s favourite character was there – Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover, Zoe – and of course the star of the show, Elmo.
All the children, from babies to big-kids were so beside themselves with excitement that I’m sure it brought a bit of a tear to the eye of many a doting parent – the kids were all just so thrilled to be seeing their much-loved Sesame Street favourites in real-life, right before their very-eyes!
The best thing about this highly-entertaining hour of kid-tastic entertainment, is that the characters are nearly always ALL on stage. And that means there is enough noise, colour and movement to keep even the littlest fan’s attention glued to the action as the Sesame Street gang set off on an alphabetic and cultural adventure around the world.
