Seeking single parents and/or their adolescent/young adult children

Are you a parent who has experienced separation? Are you an older adolescent (aged 16 years or older) or young adult whose parents have separated? We want to hear about your experiences whether they were good, bad or indifferent.

We are seeking separated parents and their older child(ren) to each complete a separate online survey which will take about 25 minutes. The surveys are confidential and neither the parent nor child will have access to the other’s responses to their surveys.

Ideally we are seeking parent/child pairs who make up their own unique code which serves to link their survey responses together. However if parents or older adolescents wish to participate without the other we encourage you to share your experiences. Surveys can be filled out at a time that suits each participant. All survey responses are non-identifiable and anonymous.

How to participate

To complete the survey please follow the instructions at http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/parentchildsurvey.

The researchers and the University of the Sunshine Coast thank you for your consideration.
