Beauty And The Beast is a tale of the power of love.

We meet the beautiful Belle, a carefree, happy girl that dares to defy convention by reading books and having a mind of her own. One day, her whole life changes when she finds herself imprisoned by a hideous Beast, in exchange for her Father’s safe release.

Belle at first resents the Beast, but in time comes to know and love him – beneath his gruff exterior lies the bravery and heart of a true prince.

One of the many delights for children in this movie is the Beast’s enchanted staff that care for Belle while she stays in the Beast’s castle – talking, dancing household objects, that are absolutely endearing. The elegant Angela Lansbury is Mrs Potts the teapot, with her son Chip, a cute little tea-cup. There’s the wardrobe, the candle-stick, and of course Cogsworth the clock.

All of their favourite Buddies puppies are back in Treasure Buddies – Rosebud, B-Dawg, Budderball, Buddha and Mudbud – and they’re ready for a new adventure!

When trouble threatens Mudbud’s owner Pete and his Grandfather the Buddies follow close behind, stowing away on their plane to mysterious Egypt.

The Buddies romp their way through Egyptian markets, deserts and ancient monuments, solving puzzles and avoiding booby-traps as they go – and the evil cat Ubasti!

The race is on to find the precious Cat’s Eye Jewel necklace, the lost treasure of Cleocatra – and so save all of Dog-kind!

As always, the Buddies are great fun to watch by both kids and adults alike. This is perhaps the best Buddies movie yet – a riotous romp packed with mystery, suspense – and hilarious puppy one-liners that only the Buddies can deliver so well.

101 Dalmatians 2 – Patch’s London Adventure picks up where 101 Dalmatians leaves off, in the same charming vintage Disney style.

This is the story of Patch, one of the original, adorable black and white spotted puppies we came to know and love in 101 Dalmatians. But we find that Patch is suffering from an identity crisis – how can he be known and loved for the puppy he is, and not as just one of one hundred and one Dalmatian puppies?

With lots of fun, music and adventure, there are some new and endearing characters to meet too – such as Patch’s unlikely TV hero Thunderbolt. There is a rather surprising undercover villian to discover, as well as the evil Cruella De Vil to contend with yet again. However – spoiler alert! – against all the odds, Patch and Thunderbolt triumph to save the day, and become the famous heros that we knew they were all along!

The movie opens with Pongo a Dalmatian, who lives with his master, Roger. The bachelors meet the loves of their lives – the beautiful Anita who just so happnes to own an equally beautiful Dalmatian, Perdita!

The two couples settle down in newly married bliss. Soon, puppies are on the way for Pongo and Perdita, who welcome 15 bouncy new puppies to the family home – but there is evil afoot! The wicked Cruella De Vil dognaps the 15 puppies with the plan to make herself a doggy-fur coat!

Something funny is going on, on Mars…Mickey and Professor Von Drake have spotted a colourful flashing light coming from Mars – from someone that looks just like him! The message is deciphered by Toodles as “Please come help!” – and of course, that’s just what Mickey and his pals must do!

It’s Mickey, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto to the rescue, and all of them are soon rocketing their way to Mars, complete with a full set of Mouse-ke-tools from the ever-helpful Toodles.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVDs are great kid-pleasers – but don’t think that they are the kind of kids DVD that has them glued to the TV like a Zombie! As the stories unfold, Mickey appeals to the viewer to help select the correct “Mousketools” to solve problems – be prepared for the kids yelling answers at the screen as the story gets them in! Mickey always has something new to teach, or new words and concepts to add to your little one’s vocabulary!

These DVDs are colourful, bright and engaging, and the plots are easy for little children to follow. All in all, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a parent and kid win-win DVD series!
